*As many branches so many trees

Globalization and its aftermath have exposed both economic and social realities across the globe. The recent global economic crisis has invited attention of experts from all disciplines for a meaningful introspection about what went wrong post globalization, thus shifting focus from understanding “best practices” to “worst practices”. The new economic order being spelt out today demands for understanding business in the backdrop of global face and local realities. With three major economic giants located in Asia, the Asian continent is going to be a business hub in the next decade. The recent report of PwC projecting India to be third largest economic power of the world by 2012 testifies significance of our role in global business decisions. In the wake of emerging business scenario, there has been spectacular shift both in the approach and delivery of management education across the globe. There appears to be more cohesiveness and uniformity in curriculum with more emphasis on cultural immersions. The inductive approach of learning, which is based upon practice based knowledge, is getting more recognition. The new pedagogy requires a deeper interface between applications of management theories to business decisions

B Schools in India, in the recent past, have been admitting students with highly diversified academic as well as work experience backgrounds that puts a challenge in bringing congruence amongst students and meeting their expectations at the earliest. This has given them an opportunity to offer customized programs which are not only globally competitive but also career path breakers. There is a need for a program that respects academic intellect, explores evidence based learning, appreciates diversity and above all aligns with business and social realities.

AsiaGSB is a unique initiative of ITM group that perfectly blends with the cherished goals of aspiring professionals. The PGMP offered by AsiaGSB in association with Fisher College of Business, Ohio State University, is a culmination of academic, intellectual and practice based inputs that makes students comparable with world class B Schools. We are on a mission in making our students globally relevant while keeping Indian values intact.
