Course in PGMP is of several levels: foundation courses, core courses, elective courses, internships, projects, simulated business games (Capstone ®) and outbound training.
Courses are of two types, viz. Credit and Non Credit courses. Scores of students in Credit Courses will be reflected in their Grade Point Average (GPA) for the course, as well as the students’ Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). The Students’ performance in Non Credit Courses will not reflect on the Student’s GPA or CGPA, but their participation will be reflected as Non Credit (NC) courses in their transcripts.
All courses will cover the theoretical background of the subject and real-life cases will expose students to practical applications of business concepts. Classes will be of a participatory nature, and not monologue lectures.
Courses will include a mix of in-class discussions, case analyses, video presentations (PowerPoint or other suitable computer aided), on-line classes, management games, written or audiovisual assignments, text study, assigned article study discussion and analysis, Term Papers, internships, tests, quizzes, debates, examinations, independent projects, etc, as per requirement, as decided by the concerned faculty members, who shall have the full freedom to choose an optimum mix of the learning possesses to be used in a particular course. This shall be done to maximize the effectiveness of the course, given the constraints of time, participant background, type of course, etc.
